ARGfest Events
Friday Night: Meet & Greet. Due to popular demand, the meet and greet will be held at the Copper Rocket in Maitland, FL. We have dinner reservations at Buca di Beppo for 6:30 PM and will head to the Copper Rocket afterwards. Maitland is a suburb just north of Orlando and is about a 20 minute drive from the Universal area. click here for printer friendly directions.
Saturday: ARGfest events will begin at 4:00 pm (location to be determined, watch the boards for the discovery! If you are interested in joining us for dinner or after 4:00 pm, please contact Brooke and she'll make sure that you have the information you need to join us.) Dinner and a night out at City Walk will follow the afternoon fun.
Sunday: the day is yours to do as you please. I know that a number of you have things that you would like to do and so the day is yours to play with. I'm sure that people will be tossing around plans and wanting to hook up with each other throughout the day, if anything seems to be attracting a large group, it will be posted or announced at dinner the night before.
Monday: A number of people have expressed interest in Epcot and this seemed to be the best day to attack it... it's the International Food & Wine festival which brings the locals out in droves, so the weekend will be packed and some of us may or may not be a bit too hungover on Sunday to really enjoy it fully. Having just returned home from the park today, I can say that the Food & Wine festival is the best in several years. The quality of the food was better than last year and the prices didn't seem as outrageous as the past few years, which was a pleasant surprise. There were a number of offerings in the $2 range and at least 1 that was only $1.50. The real surprise of the day though, Ireland won out on our little taste test... Ireland! You know, because the Irish are known for the culinary expertise. Greece, once again, was a disappointment and fortunately it was the only one.
